Yellowstone National Park

Waterfalls Waterfalls are not a Yellowstone exclusive, but they feature strongly in the park and some of them are pretty high.


But few places in the world can boast of HOT waterfalls, where the steam rises even on warm days and the water may be hot enough to scald. And some of those falls drop into gorges of chemically stained rock where the colours amaze and the steam pours out from cracks in the gorge walls. This park is full of surprises.
